When the anxiety passes, run the bath water, add some salt and lavender, and climb back into yourself. Notice how your feet still flinch at the warmth. Notice how your skin still wrinkles in the water.

When you are done, she'll help you rub oil into your skin. Notice how no one ravaged you while you sat naked with yourself. Notice how the Earth didn't roll away. Notice how your body always tearfully welcomes you back. Notice how the Earth held you the entire time while you thrashed, convinced that you won't make it another moment.

Yet, here you are. Whole and complete. The Earth didn't roll away.
